Coming in February is the 2010 Women’s Conference. This year’s theme is “S.O.S. a Call to Love.”

 

The two-day event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 19 and from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, February 20 in the Worship Center, 1302 N 30th Street. There will be praise and worship, drama, break-away sessions and a continental breakfast on Saturday. Twana Gilmore, director of the women’s ministries at Butterfield, will be the keynote speaker.

 

Sharyl Gourley, coordinator for the second annual conference, said this weekend is a chance to get away from life’s busy schedule and relax in the presence of the Lord while learning how to love “God, yourself and others the way God intended.”

 

“This is an opportunity to form friendships with other women and learn Godly principles for managing the different types of relationships we have in life,” said Gourley. “This conference is for women of all ages and all walks of life.”

 

The cost to attend the conference is $15. The deadline to register is February 14th.
