Pastor Patrick & KristiPatrick and Kristi Kimberland
Excited and passionate for the ministry are words that describe Pastor Patrick Kimberland who recently accepted the position of Senior Pastor at Butterfield Church.
Pastor Kimberland was called into the ministry at 18 years of age during an Arkansas District Youth Camp. He later became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and graduated in 1992 from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible.
In May 2011, Pastor Kimberland and his family moved to Alma, Arkansas and began attending Butterfield Church while he traveled as a fulltime evangelist. In 2011 alone, Pastor Kimberland preached an average of 255 days out of the year, including an 11-week revival he led at First Assembly of God in Paris, Arkansas. Prior to his 11 years as an evangelist, Pastor Kimberland and his wife Kristi served as the senior pastors at Maumelle Assembly of God in Little Rock, associate pastors at First Assembly in Jonesboro, and have been youth ministers at churches in Cabot and Mountain Home.
With a genuine heart for people and desire to build the kingdom of God, Pastor Kimberland and Kristi look forward to “feeling God’s presence in a greater way than we’ve ever experienced, to the point that people’s lives are transformed, they can’t wait to come to church, and they can’t help but invite their friends!”
Pastor Kimberland and Kristi were married in 1994 in Van Buren, Arkansas and have two children, Hayden and Parker. Pastor Kimberland enjoys sports, playing golf, taking Parker to baseball and basketball games, and most importantly, spending time with family.
Kristi, who was born and raised in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, is a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with a degree in accounting. During their years in ministry, Kristi has held many different roles, including accountant, bookkeeper, income tax preparer, children’s director, Missionettes teacher, altar worker, prayer warrior, and her favorite job of all, fulltime mom. Kristi enjoys reading, cooking, shopping, Starbucks and spending time with family and friends.
